Furniture lovely and good quality but delivery took 3 months instead of 3 weeks stated
Appalling customer service. Item due in one week at time of purchase ... we’ve been waiting 10 weeks and counting. No explanation and my last two emails asking for an update have gone unanswered.

The bookcase we ordered was beautiful, it was packaged really carefully and delivered by an excellent and friendly team. We were contacted before hand so we knew when they would be delivering. Although they weren't allowed to unpack it, they told us the best way to do so. We followed their instructions which made for easy (although heavy) unpacking. The bookcase was already assembled, fantastic, and I filled it up straight away. It looks stunning and exactly as per the pictures.
Very pleased with the furniture and good customer service.
Fab, sturdy and high quality chest of drawers. Our order became available for delivery ahead of schedule, which was great. Problems with delivery as despite no concerns flagging in the delivery info, the delivery drivers decided they might not like to carry it up the stairs to our second floor flat because it was heavy. Didn't want to take the drawers out to make it lighter either, despite my suggestions. They did bring it up though after some persuasion and a lot of complaining.
I ordered and received a small bureau from the Cotswold Company and was pleased with both the ordering and delivery processes. Clear and good communication and delivery safely and efficiently carried out. The bureau is excellent quality and suits my needs very well.

Delivery very organised text message to give time slot. Furniture very well packaged.
Website easy to use. Regular up dates via email as there was a delay with one item.

Easy to navigate website. Clear pictures with accurate descriptions and dimensions which make choosing the bedside tables easy. The products were well packaged and excellent quality when they arrived. There is a choice of wood or metal drawer knobs, which is a nice extra detail. The free delivery took a while but was well organised. I would definitely recommend this product.
Advert for product said available in three weeks, This was false, the delivery was not made until nearly seven weeks from order, If I had known this at the outset I would not have ordered from this company.
No apology or explanation from the company for the delay.

My experience during the pandemic with The Cotswold Company has been very good. My orders took about 4 weeks and 5 weeks to be delivered which was as expected. The first delivery company would only deliver to the hallway/playroom for items that had to go in an upstairs bedroom and wouldn’t take the packaging away. I was aware of this. However, the second delivery company still offered delivery to room of choice and took all the packaging away. I was charged a small fee for this by Cotswold. This made the delivery experience even better. The furniture is solid and well made. Only the bed and wardrobe needed assembling. A friend who put them together for me was very impressed how good the furniture was. I would definitely recommend this company.

Ordered furniture 5 weeks ago, no word on delivery so I chased them. It was booked for Tuesday- they never turned up, no text, no call. I rang the following day & was given a number that puts you through to someone who may be a staff member but the system crashed (sounded like they were at home watching tv!) I message to advise I wanted to cancel my order & have been told I will be refunded when they get the items back from the delivery company- So basically I have to hope that they get sent back quickly and damage free otherwise it appears I have to pay for them even though I’ve never received them- surely this is a matter between YOU and YOUR delivery company. This may be a week, it may be a month! In the meantime received a text saying they are being delivered tomorrow- give me strength! ???? So inept and not one word of apology given. This is not the homely, cosy company they like to portray!!!
Further to your reply- IF the refund has been actioned yesterday morning as you have stated it would not take 14 days to credit my account, it takes a couple at most. I may be being overly suspicious and I am happy to be proved wrong. I am also quite frankly underwhelmed by your apology for your wasting my day with your non-delivery- I was always taught that if I had inconvenienced somebody a sorry went a long way. Business must be very good to treat customers this way
UPDATE- Just as suspected payment had NOT been made, have just been called by the shop to process it 5 days later.
